IATSE 212 is committed to helping members upgrade their skills and the IATSE 212 Education Committee updates courses on an ongoing basis. Certain courses are prerequisites for being considered for a department, and others are required before permittee status will be considered. If you are interested in registering for a course, please be sure you have submitted an application related to the course you are interested in registering for. Rigging for Stage 2024-May-22 - 5/22/2024

Class will start at 09:00 finishing around 5:00 pm. Topics that will be covered; Basic rigging principles and theory for ground and high riggers, safe work practices, review of personal safety equipment and certification requirements. Hands on practice of basic rigging skills and radio communication/etiquette. Open to Local 212 Stage members and permits.

Fall Protection End User Certification 2024-May-23 - 5/23/2024

Fall Protection End User for the Workplace. This course is required for anyone working at heights. Certification is valid for 3 years. Course runs from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Participants should bring a lunch. Personal harness is not required for this course. Registration is open to IATSE 212 members, permits only. GST has been included in the course fee.
