Sign Painting for Film 2026-Jan-24&25 - 1/24/2026
This two-day intensive workshop will start with a discussion about painting signs for film. Topics covered will include layout, lettering and how signs are used, steps taken to re-create signs and graphics for different time periods and distance from camera. Day 2 will be a quick recap of day one, followed by the students working on project sign panels/samples. This is a hands on workshop that will run 9 am - 5 pm both days. Participants should bring the following to class: basic yard stick, lunch, clothing suitable to paint in, notebook. Painting tools and materials will be provided. Aerial Boom & Scissor Lift Operator Certification 2026-01-27 - 1/27/2026
This training provides a classroom presentation, written test, hands-on practice and skills testing session needed for safe operation of an aerial boom lift and scissor lift. Operator skills will be evaluated using industry standards. Class is from 0800 - 1630. Participants must provide the following applicable Personal Protective Equipment: safety glasses, safety boots, safety vest, hard hat, harness & lanyard. Registration is restricted to IATSE 212. Costume Blood Workshop 2026-Jan-27 - 1/27/2026
This one day workshop will cover; presentations from guest speakers, different types of stage blood, presentation and hands on using varying application techniques (includes spray, spatter, splash, cannon). Hands on for varying materials and cleaning. Alternative plastics and materials of consideration. ETC Console Training Level 1: Essentials 2026-Mar-10 - 3/10/2026
Are you new to the Eos family of consoles and ready to hit the ground running with your first show? Learn all the basics you will need to get started in our Essentials class. This class will give a solid foundation with the Eos family of consoles and prepare you to grow your knowledge as you are ready. Session will be from 9-5 pm. After completing this class, you will be able to: Patch conventional and multi-parameter fixtures, Work with channels in Live mode, Work with basic display navigation, Record/select/delete Groups, Record/load/clear Submasters, Record/play/delete Cues, Understand tracking versus Cue Only as well as Block and Assert, Control non-intensity parameters at a basic level, Apply additional cue features such as Delay, Auto-Follow and Loop, Use Park efficiently, Evaluate and make changes in Setup, Create Simple step-based Effects. Ready to move beyond the basics you need to take your programming to the next level. Going beyond our Level 1 training, this class will get you going with some of the more advanced capabilities of your console and get you on your way to programming like a pro.
