Well then, this course is for you! This 2 hour course will cover information on IATSE 212 stage dispatch, hours, breaks, contracts, WCB, OH&S rules, proper headset and walkie-talkie use, how to be prepared for a stage call and a peek inside all the major union venues in the city. Whether you are brand new to the industry or have been around for a bit, this course has some useful information for everyone. Session is from 2pm -4 pm at IATSE 212. Stage Lighting Level 102: DMX Basics and Console Introduction 2026-May-27 - 5/27/2026
This course will expand upon the concepts of stage lighting basics and teach on the concepts of DMX and the interaction between intelligent lighting and the lighting console. As most lights now require a DMX connection it is important to understand how the console talks to the light.
